Rob Thomas in Atlantic City November 6th, 2009 Borgata Events Center

Who:  Rob Thomas      When: November 16th, 2009

Where:  Borgata Events Center     What Time:  8:00 pm

The Borgata Atlantic City is pleased to host Rob Thomas once again at the Events Center.  Rob brings hot top hits A New York Christmas, Lonely No More, This Is How a Heart Breaks, Ever the Same, Streetcorner Symphony, Little Wonders, Her Diamonds, Give Me the Meltdown, Someday and smooth to his live performances.

The best part about seeing Rob Thomas in Atlantic City is that the Borgata Events Center is much smaller than almost all the venue he plays, this makes for the best show on his 2009 tour, guaranteed!

Buy Rob Thomas Atlantic City Tickets Online Now!

SEATING TIP:  There are 2 types of seats, the floor seats and riser in the events center.  I’ve paid big money to be in the first 3 rows of the floor seats, however, I found really affordable seats in the Risers between row c and p and enjoyed the show much more.  Sound quality is awesome, easy access to bar and restrooms, just a more relaxed seating arrangement!

PARKING TIP AT BORGATA: I normally valet park for ease of access, however, getting your car after the show can sometimes take 1/2 to 1 hour of sitting in an underground room!  Here’s the plan:  Park in the Surface Lot, the entrance is to the right of the Valet Entrance it will say “Surface Lot”.  This way you have easy access to your car with no lines and if you forget something you can go out and get it, LOL.

Have fun and see you in Atlantic City at the Borgata for Rob Thomas 2009!

Chicago – Earth Wind & Fire Atlantic City – Borgata Casino

Chicago - Earth Wind and Fire Rocks the Borgata!

Chicago - Earth Wind and Fire Rocks the Borgata!

What: Chicago with Earth Wind & Fire June 12 amd 13, 2009 Atlantic City, NJ

When: Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13, 2009  – 7:30pm

Where: Borgata Casino Atlantic City Events Center

This show is so popular that the first date sold out in minutes which lead to the Borgata Casino executives to quickly add an additional to support the demand.  Tim Johnson said “this show always does well here in Atlantic City, it’s Sold Out every year since they teamed up, we love to them here at the Borgata!”.

The Borgata Events Center is a great place to watch a concert.  The two main types of seating are the floor (all one level) and the Riser which is elevated seating in the rear of the center.  Many concert goers enjoy the risers, more comfortable seats, easy access to bar and bathrooms, elevated above the floor seating for a better view and the sound is perfect.

It may be good idea to lock in tickets quickly as they are completely sold out and the inventory of secondary market tickets is going fast.

Chicago with Earth Wind and Fire Atlantic City Friday June 12 Tickets!

Chicago – Earth Wind & Fire Borgata Atlantic City Saturday June 13 Tickets!

We guarantee you’ll enjoy this show, 2 classic bands in one event, you’ll flashback to the 70’s in no time!  Have fun and enjoy.

What to do in Atlantic City this Spring!

The Walk Atlantic City Outlets

The scenario: Labor Day has come and gone in Atlantic City, and some people still have to call Atlantic City home for a few days during a convention or trade show until Columbus Day, which is the recognized end of the convention season.  The husbands, wives, others, and kids attached to those thousands of incoming conventioneers still need things to do and places to go during the day. What are they to do?  Fear not, there’s plenty more than the tables and machines in our fair city by the sea.

THE WALK ATLANTIC CITY OUTLETS: The massive outlet complex and home of Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club boasts ten square blocks (soon to be fifteen) and counting of shops and eateries smack in the middle of downtown, with casino and surface parking available, in addition to multiple Jitney stops.  Shop for everything from Yankee Candles and Starbucks to high end name brand gear from such outlets as Brooks Brothers and Kenneth Cole for the guys.  The ladies have Liz Claiborne, H&M, and there’s no shortage of shoe stores for the men to suffer thru.  After all that shopping, get a Subway, go to Applebee’s, or cross Fairmount Avenue at Michigan and go to Atlantic City’s only microbrew, the Tun Tavern.  Also soon to come: Atlantic City’s very own Melting Pot!  Make sure that you go to The Walk and many other participating retailers on the first Wednesday of the month in the off-season, as the deceptively named First Wednesday promotion has some great deals all around town.

THE QUARTER AT THE TROPICANA: Tropicana’s $285 million Old Havana-themed expansion (AC’s largest non-gaming expansion ever) is the home of some of the most sought after shops,  restaurants, and experiences in the city.  Get pampered at Blue Mercury spa, then float over to any of several amazing restaurants (the Palm, Red Square, and Cuba Libre just to name a few) or walk the main floor and see such cosmopolitan brands as White House Black Market, Erwin Pearl, and Swarovski crystal.  The Quarter is also home to the area’s only IMAX Theater and the region’s only PF Chang’s.

THE BOARDWALK: It might not seem totally obvious, but the four-and-a-half-mile Boardwalk is an attraction in and of itself that could easily fill up more than a full day away from the gaming floors.  People seem to think that the Boardwalk just turns tail and shuts down once the cold weather comes: that’s only partially correct.  The many arcades are great for the gamers that are not yet 21, as is the Steel Pier amusement park, which is located across the boards from Taj Mahal.  Steel Pier stays open on weekends thru the third weekend in October.  For the more culturally inclined there’s the Atlantic City Art Museum and Historical Center and the restored Absecon Lighthouse.  Both of these landmarks sit just north of Showboat at New Jersey Avenue and the Boardwalk, right near the proposed Revel Entertainment casino project site.  If it’s freaky things you fancy, Ripley’s Believe it or Not is on the Boardwalk at New York Avenue.  From September to April, Ripley’s is open from 10am to 6pm on Monday thru Friday, and 10am to 8pm on weekends.  Among other things, you can see a scale model of Christopher Columbus’s Santa Maria made from 27,000 matchsticks.  For $14.99 per adult, it’s a great way to kill a few hours.  For the historian in you, the New Jersey Korean War Memorial is at the most expensive intersection on the Monopoly board: Park Place and Boardwalk.  (Yes, there really is a Park Place – why do you think it’s called Bally’s Park Place?)

THE PIER AT CAESARS: While The Pier Shops at Caesars are great for shopping and eating year-round, it’s going to be a spectacular holiday shopping spot.  Also for the visitors, the third floor sand and beach chairs that were so great for summer beach viewing are even better come fall and winter.  For those that don’t know, the beach views when people aren’t on the beach sunning themselves are often prettier than the proverbial busy summer scene.

GARDNER’S BASIN: In addition to an aquarium in the Ocean Life Center, Gardner’s Basin is the focal point for group fishing trips in the back bay and the home of Atlantic City Cruises.  Atlantic City Cruises (awesome, see previous post) runs daily sightseeing cruises, casino skyline cruises, happy hour cruises, and dolphin watching trips from May thru October.  Marine travelers can also dock here based on availability.  Land access is from New Hampshire Avenue and Jitneys also run here.  Gardner’s Basin as a whole does not have an overarching presence on the Web, but Google “Gardner’s Basin” and most of the resident businesses pop right up.  The restaurants in the Basin are for most of the year to enjoy the views, usually only closing from Halloween to St. Patrick’s Day.

Atlantic City Bachelorette and Bachelor Party Tips

Atlantic City Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Tips

Before we get into the details of how to plan your Bachelor or Bachelorette party, one of the most important parts of your trip is making reservations at an Atlantic City Hotel. To make your trip planning easier we recommend this ATLANTIC CITY HOTELS EXPERTS site. You can find great discounts that sometimes include free show tickets, you can quickly compare Atlantic City Hotels and Casinos and view virtual tours as well as digital pictures. They also have a toll free number and live online help if you have any questions. Have fun in Atlantic City!

Atlantic City Bachelor Party Tips – One of the first decisions a Groom or Best Man must make about the bachelor party is the location. Do you want it local or are you planning a weekend trip with the guys? Regardless of what you choose, the most important thing is to have fun with the Bachelor. Below, we have listed the most popular places for a bachelor party and where to get the most comprehensive information to make your decision: We recommendAtlantic City, New Jersey.  AC has it all: Adult Strip Clubs, Casinos, Nightclubs, Great Golf Courses, Beaches and much much more.

Ideas and Tips:

1. Reserve a poker table at one of the best poker rooms in Atlantic City and have your own cash game. You only pay for the dealer. Choose from Borgata, Taj Mahal, Hilton, Showboat House of Blues poker room. This a ton of fun!

2. Spend one night at Atlantic City Strip Clubs, Gentleman’s Clubs. #1 one on our list is Bare Exposure Atlantic City’s first all-nude strip club, Bare Exposure is located directly across Pacific Avenue from Trump Plaza. There is no liquor license here, so it’s BYOB (Beer and wine only). They do have a liquor store connected but you pay a big premium. Leave your cell phones in the car, they charge $5 storage fee. #2 on the list is
Delilah’s Den  one of South Jersey’s top exotic dance clubs. There girls here are extremely friendly, almost always beautiful, rarely pushy, and have just enough class to keep you interested all night long. There is one problem, however: the dancers here don’t strip naked; they wear bikinis on stage and never reveal a thing. Delilah’s Den requires transportation as it’s about 3 miles from AC. #3 on the list is
Club Allure  a New York-style gentlemen’s club that offers a newly renovated venue with a VIP lounge as well as a champagne room. ( New York ave and the boardwalk)
3. Plan a day of incredible golf in Atlantic City / South Jersey. Be sure to make the Tee Time for about 12 noon or 1pm, this will allow time for everyone to wake up and be ready to play.

Here’s our Top 5.

#1 Atlantic City Country Club, #2 Twisted Dune Golf Club, #3 Links a tBrigantine Beach, #4 Harbor Pines, #5 Blue Heron Pines. All are within 15 minutes of Atlantic City Casinos and Hotels. Use the only Tee Time System make, Change and Cancel Atlantic City Golf Tee Times Online.

4. Spend a night at one of the Top Nightclubs in Atlantic City.
Here you will an abundance of beautiful single women, we guarantee a great time. Our Top 5 are #1 -
Casbah Nightclub at the Taj Mahal, #2 - Club Mixx at the Borgata, #3 -  Club Worship at the House of Blues / Showboat Casino Atlantic City #4 – The Quarter at the Tropicana, this could very easily be our #1 because you have an entire city of Bars and Clubs in one location, plus you can sneak off to gamble and come back with a good story before anyone knew you were missing!  The Quarter at the Tropicana has it all, an Irish Pub with live band, karaoke bar, Mod Vodka Bar called Red Square, Comedy Club, great restaurants like the Palm and Carmines, much more. #5 – New Pier at Caesar’s. A huge selection of gourmet restaurants, an Irish Pub, a Sports Bar called Game On Atlantic City and much more. Located at the Caesar’s across the boardwalk. There is no shortage of things to do when enjoying a Bachelor Party in Atlantic City.

5. Limo and Party Bus – it may sometimes be necessary to rent a limo or Party Bus for the night, we recommend this company. Very professional and good prices. Tell Jeffrey the AC Hotel Experts sent you for a preferred rate.

From Atlantic City Spa’s, to Shopping, Nightclubs and an incredible all male review,
Atlantic City is a great place for your Bachelorette Party.
